THE M3 SYSTEM AND HOW IT WORKS

The M3 System® introduces a controlled amount of solution into the air flow system then decontaminates, disinfects and deodorises the supply of air. As the solution is carried through the air flow system it continues to work on the Surfaces and Air on the way. Once the airflow exits the system, the microscopic droplets will treat any touch surface areas that it comes into contact with, as well as disinfecting the air flow at any point throughout the room. HEPA filters are not ultimately efficient enough to provide safe protection.

 

A true HEPA filter cannot be simply added to an existing HVAC system.

 

The system fan will cavitate. Cause restriction of air flow.

 

As the filter loads up with the accumulation of particulate bioburden, there is a possibility of airflow breaking viable pathogens from the filter surface and allowing them to re-enter the occupied, conditioned space, thereby increasing potential pathogen spread.

There are many spectrums of UV and you need the most powerful to ensure you kill the most dangerous pathogen. When you get approximately 1 meter away from a UV light the drop off in efficacy is exponential.

 

In a ducted HVAC system UV light does not radiate down a long duct, around a corner, up a riser and down into multiple diffuser outlets.

 

Buildup of “bio -burden” (particulates) on the bulb will decrease efficacy.

 

Bulbs need to be changed regularly to make up for loss of efficacy and efficiency
